Cursing as she took a glancing bolt off of her shoulder plate, Sabine somersaulted to the left, quickly ducking behind a crumbling pillar of black as more bolts zipped her way. It had been a month since Thrawn fled the system, leaving Sabine, Ahsoka, and Huyang stranded on the dead world known as Peridea. While the Noti were kind in their acceptance of them, welcoming them into their nomadic life, Sabine missed her old life, missed her old friends and family, even though there were not many of them left. And while the grip of isolation and loneliness was somewhat eased by her master’s and at times Huyang’s presence, the hollowness she felt still remained after all was said and done.
